Varshaphala Part 14: Year Lord Results — Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn

Varshaphala — The Hindu Progressed Horoscope (Complete Guide)

Continuing from Part 13 (Sun, Moon, Mars), we now cover the remaining four planets and provide the complete reference grid.

Part 14 of 21 • Results Encyclopedia • Covers: Chapter 10 — Results of Varsheswara (Articles 91–94)

Mercury as Year Lord

If Strong:

Attainment of a position akin to ministerial rank, eloquence and oratorical skill, forging new and valuable friendships, increase of wealth, success in mathematical or astrological pursuits, and the acquisition of fine clothing and luxury items.

If Moderate:

Disputes and conflicts, false accusations from others, moderate earnings consistent with one's station in life, some intellectual activity but without major breakthroughs.

If Weak:

Quarrels within the family, nervous disorders and anxiety, purposeless travel, skin diseases, and general frustration in communication and business dealings.

Key Aspect Modifications

Jupiter's aspect: Greatly enhances Mercury's positive results — wisdom, prosperity, and public recognition.

Saturn's aspect: Delays, chronic worries, and obstacles in communication endeavors.

Venus's association: Artistic and literary accomplishments, income through creative work.

Jupiter as Year Lord

If Strong:

Attainment of high position and authority, significant growth in wealth, widespread fame and public recognition, prosperity of children, deepened religious devotion and spiritual inclination, and favor from rulers and persons of authority.

If Moderate:

Moderate financial gains, domestic happiness but without major milestones, some health issues of a minor nature, and general stability without dramatic change.

If Weak:

Financial losses, displacement from one's position, ill-health, empowerment of enemies, family troubles, and a general decline in the native's circumstances.

Key Aspect Modifications

Venus's aspect: Marriage (if unmarried), house construction, general life improvement.

Saturn's aspect: Professional obstacles, delays in career advancement, strained relationships with authority.

Special rule: If Jupiter owns a Bhava in the natal chart, occupies the same Bhava in the annual chart, and has Ithasala with the ascendant lord, that Bhava will thrive exceptionally well during the year.

Venus as Year Lord

If Strong:

A life of luxury and comfort, acquisition of vehicles, a beautiful and accomplished partner, success in artistic and creative pursuits, political success or legislative achievements, and general aristocratic living standards.

If Moderate:

Mixed results in personal and professional life, some legal entanglements, moderate enjoyments balanced by minor irritations.

If Weak:

Scandalous associations that damage reputation, ill-health (especially related to reproductive or urinary systems), discord in family and marriage, financial losses, and troubles through romantic entanglements.

Key Aspect Modifications

Venus as Lagna lord in Easarpha with the 2nd lord: Financial loss and decline in regular income — a specific and important combination to watch for.

Jupiter's aspect: Marriage, spiritual growth, and expansion of artistic abilities.

Saturn as Year Lord

If Strong:

Leadership positions and authority, successful agricultural ventures, political influence, longevity and good health for the native's age, command over large groups of people, and gains through real estate and land dealings.

If Moderate:

Success that comes slowly and with delays, chronic but manageable health issues, career progress that requires patience, and steady but unspectacular gains.

If Weak:

Poverty and financial hardship, chronic illness (especially joint-related, rheumatic, or nervous conditions), powerful enemies, loss of relatives, mental depression, and a year marked by restriction, limitation, and sorrow.

Key Aspect Modifications

Jupiter's aspect: Partially counteracts Saturn's harsh tendencies — brings wisdom to endure difficulties and can convert challenges into long-term growth opportunities.

Mars's aspect: Intensifies conflict, accidents, and physical danger. Mars-Saturn combinations as Year Lord configurations are among the most difficult.

Venus's aspect: Softens Saturn's austerity — can indicate gains through older partners, antiques, or established institutions.

No prediction should be made in a haphazard manner — careful, consistent scrutiny of all factors is essential.
