The text explains how to decode the character, appearance, and background of a future spouse just by looking at the sign falling on the 7th house and the planets influencing it. It also tackles the complex topics of multiple marriages, separation, and exactly when the marriage will occur.

1. The Character of the Future Spouse

The text outlines severe astrological combinations that warn of a difficult marriage, separation, or early loss of the spouse:
- Mars in the 7th: Indicates the couple will live apart, or the spouse may face danger. If Saturn aspects this Mars without benefic help, the danger increases.
- Venus Hemmed by Malefics: If Venus is surrounded by malefic planets with no benefic support, the native's life is endangered by the partner, or the partner's life is short.
- Rahu or Ketu in the 7th: Especially if in a malefic Navamsa, indicates a quarrelsome partner with an evil reputation, or one inclined to "poison" the relationship.
- Weak 7th Lord: If the 7th lord is debilitated, combust, or occupies the 6th, 8th, or 12th house without benefic aspects, the native may not marry, or the marriage will be short-lived.

The "Common Sign" Rule
If the Ascendant, the Moon, and the 7th Lord all occupy "common" (mutable) signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces), the native will remarry. Mutable signs represent change and duality.
The "Over-Strength" Rule
If the 7th Lord from Lagna, the 7th Lord from the Moon, and Venus are all exceptionally strong and occupy favorable houses, multiple relationships are indicated.
Conversely, if the Sun and Mars (planets of strict principles and focus) occupy the 7th house or their own Navamsas in the 7th, the text states the person will have only one wife, remaining faithful despite opportunities.

Marriage occurs early if the 7th Lord is strong and associated with the Ascendant Lord, or if Venus and the 7th Lord are close to the 1st or 7th houses. Benefics in the 1st, 2nd, and 7th houses also accelerate the timing.
Late Marriage (After Bloom of Youth)
If the 7th Lord is placed far away from the 1st and 7th houses (e.g., in the 12th or 6th), marriage is delayed.

Marriage is triggered when Venus, the Ascendant Lord, or the 7th Lord transits over the 7th House, or the sign occupied by the 7th Lord. Additionally, when Jupiter transits the sign of the 7th Lord or its trines, the event manifests.
- The Sign Sets the Tone: The zodiac sign on the 7th house reveals the core psychological traits and daily habits of your ideal partner.
- Mars and Saturn are Stressors: The presence of malefic planets in the 7th house creates physical distance, emotional friction, or health risks for the partner.
