Invisible Wires — The Subtle Power That Pervades the Universe

Here's the most radical thing both Emerson and Raman believe: the universe sees everything. Not most things. Not important things. Everything. Every act. Every thought. Every half-formed intention you didn't quite carry out. All of it. Registered, recorded, consequential.
"Commit a crime, and the earth is made of glass. Commit a crime, and it seems as if a coat of snow fell on the ground, such as reveals in the woods the track of every partridge and fox and squirrel and mole. You cannot recall the spoken word, you cannot wipe out the foot-track, you cannot draw up the ladder, so as to leave no inlet or clew. Some damning circumstance always transpires."
The earth turns transparent. The snow records every footprint. You think you got away with it? You didn't.
"Dreadful limits are set in nature to the powers of dissimulation. Truth tyrannizes over the unwilling members of the body. Faces never lie, it is said."
"Human character evermore publishes itself. The most fugitive deed and word, the mere air of doing a thing, the intimated purpose, expresses character."
You're broadcasting. All the time. The transmission never stops.
The Sea of Vibratory Energies
Raman describes the same reality through the lens of cosmic physics:
"We are living in a veritable sea of vibratory energies which unceasingly and equitably supply the means of creating, maintaining and destroying life and its activities in our little universe. Planetary rays are unseen vibrations and they affect biological and psychological processes."
"Man himself is an electrical body discharging different kinds of electrical energies, his success and failure are simply matters of attraction and repulsion between himself and the objects with which he has to deal in his day-to-day activities."

You're an electrical body, transmitting into a universe that's one vast receiving station. The horoscope is the printout. Every karmic transaction logged — not by a celestial bureaucrat, but by the structure of reality itself.
The Social Ripple
Emerson extends this from the personal to the social:
"You cannot do wrong without suffering wrong."
"Whilst I stand in simple relations to my fellow-man, I have no displeasure in meeting him. We meet as water meets water, or as two currents of air mix, with perfect diffusion and interpenetration of nature. But as soon as there is any departure from simplicity, and attempt at halfness, or good for me that is not good for him, my neighbor feels the wrong; he shrinks from me as far as I have shrunk from him; his eyes no longer seek mine; there is war between us; there is hate in him and fear in me."
The moment you start playing angles, the relationship changes instantly. Nobody has to say anything. The invisible wires have already carried the message.
"There is a soul at the centre of nature, and over the will of every man, so that none of us can wrong the universe. It has so infused its strong enchantment into nature, that we prosper when we accept its advice, and when we struggle to wound its creatures, our hands are glued to our sides, or they beat our own breasts."
You literally cannot damage the universe. You can only damage yourself. When you try to wound others, your own hands turn against your own chest.
It Works Both Ways
The good news — and it's genuinely good — is that this works in both directions:
"Love, and you shall be loved. All love is mathematically just, as much as the two sides of an algebraic equation."
The Invisible Wires Carry Both Signals
Deception
Your face changes. Your eyes dim. The con artist's character erodes over time. "Faces never lie."
Love
"All love is mathematically just." The wires carry kindness as efficiently as they carry betrayal.
The universe's accounting system doesn't only track debts. It tracks gifts. The ledger records everything — the cruelty and the kindness, the lies and the love.
You just have to choose which signal to transmit.
