Part 62 · Series: Foundational & Learning Topics

Power Through Jaimini's Eyes

While the Parashara system reveals general life patterns and destiny, the Jaimini system reveals the deepest spiritual purpose and potential for power. Raman discovered that examining Rajayoga—combinations that indicate political power and authority—through the Jaimini lens provided remarkable insight into who would rise to leadership. The Jaimini system's focus on the soul's purpose (Atmakaraka) and ultimate destiny (Karakamsa) made it uniquely suited to identifying individuals and nations destined for great power and leadership.

"The Jaimini system reveals the soul's purpose more directly than Parashara. When examining who will achieve political power, Jaimini analysis often provided clarity that Parashara alone could not. The placement of the Atmakaraka in the Karakamsa, the strength of the Chara Dasha's influence, the position of the Atmakaraka in the Navamsa—these revealed whether a person's soul was destined for authority and power. I found that those with strong Jaimini rajayogas consistently achieved power even when Parashara indicated obstacles, because they were following their soul's inherent purpose."
The Power Principle: Jaimini rajayogas reveal the soul's inherent capacity for authority and leadership. Those with strong Jaimini power combinations will eventually reach positions of authority, regardless of other obstacles.

Atmakaraka and Authority

Raman emphasized the Atmakaraka's role in power:

"The Atmakaraka—the planet most advanced in its sign—represents the soul's most developed capacity. When the Atmakaraka is the Sun, Mars, or Jupiter, the soul has inherent capacity for authority, leadership, and power. When the Atmakaraka is well-placed in the Navamsa, occupies the 1st or 10th house, or is aspected by benefics, the person will naturally rise to positions of authority. The strength of the Atmakaraka in the Chara Dasha during a person's adult years often determines whether they actually achieve the power their chart indicates they could."

Atmakaraka placements and power potential:

  • Sun as Atmakaraka: Natural authority and kingship; leadership capacity
  • Mars as Atmakaraka: Warrior power; military or commanding authority
  • Jupiter as Atmakaraka: Wisdom and spiritual authority; benevolent leadership
  • Atmakaraka in 1st Navamsa house: Direct expression of authority in this life
  • Atmakaraka in 10th Navamsa house: Authority through career and public position
  • Strong Atmakaraka in Chara Dasha: Person achieves power when dasha activates

Chara Dasha and the Timing of Power

Raman identified how Jaimini dashas showed when power would manifest:

"The Chara Dasha in the Jaimini system moves through houses, activating different house lords at different times. A person with strong Rajayoga indicators who enters a Chara Dasha where the 10th house or its lord is activated typically achieves political power during that period. I observed that many national leaders came to power when their Jaimini Chara Dasha activated the 10th house (authority) and the Atmakaraka was simultaneously strong. This combination reliably predicted when ambitious people would achieve political positions."

Rajayoga in National Charts

Raman applied Jaimini rajayoga analysis to nations:

"A nation's chart can also be analyzed for rajayoga. Nations with strong Atmakaraka in favorable position in the Karakamsa are destined to become great powers. Nations with their Atmakaraka in weak or afflicted position are destined for lesser influence. By examining the Jaimini rajayogas in a nation's chart, one can predict which nations will emerge as superpowers even if Parashara analysis of the same chart suggested limitations. The Jaimini system reveals the soul-level purpose of the nation."
The Destiny Principle: Those with strong Jaimini rajayogas are destined by their souls to achieve power. They will overcome obstacles and attain authority because they are following their soul's inherent purpose.

Key Takeaways: Jaimini for Rajayoga

What This Part Teaches Us:

  • Jaimini rajayogas reveal the soul's inherent capacity for power and authority: More directly than Parashara.
  • The Atmakaraka's sign, position, and Navamsa placement show power potential: Sun, Mars, and Jupiter Atmakarakas have inherent authority capacity.
  • Atmakaraka strength in the Karakamsa indicates who will achieve power: Stronger Atmakaraka = greater authority destiny.
  • Chara Dasha activation of the 10th house shows timing of power achievement: When a person will rise to leadership positions.
  • Jaimini rajayogas often predict power achievement despite Parashara obstacles: Because they reveal soul-level purpose.
  • Nations with strong Jaimini rajayogas become superpowers: Regardless of Parashara limitations.
  • Those destined for power will achieve it when their time comes: Following their soul's inherent purpose and trajectory.

Through Jaimini rajayoga analysis, Raman demonstrated that true power and authority—whether for individuals or nations—comes from alignment with the soul's deepest purpose, revealed through the Jaimini system's unique focus on spiritual destiny.
