He had the energy and drive of a young soul, but he was actually at Level 7, and that's what gave him the ability to tap into inspiration from the Soul World. Edison claimed that "genius is one percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration." That one percent came from the other side -- and at your level, you have access to that same wellspring.
This is your most creative, inventive, and curious stage. Never before or after will you be quite so innovative. Having fully embraced the Quest, you can be self-absorbed to the point where angst sets in -- you become the poet or artist searching for the meaning of art, literature, and particularly life itself.
You discover unplumbed depths within yourself, and you seek out kindred spirits who share your passion for discussion and analysis. You find it exciting to be in the presence of those who understand your intensity. You look for other souls who feel things as deeply as you do, so you won't feel quite so alone.
You feel the need to continually further your understanding of the world. This urge, combined with your desire to help others, leads you to create and join societies and organizations dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge. You write complex philosophies that attempt to make sense of life, even if they sometimes make it seem more complicated than it is.
At this level, the world becomes more fascinating to you than ever before, thanks to a dimension that was previously missing: inner complexity. But the consequence of all this intensity and drama can be a kind of sensory overload. Anxiety -- your risk at this level -- can set in and prevent you from achieving whatever it was you originally set out to do.
Insecurity and great art go hand in hand because so many artists and musicians are, or were, at your level. Impressionist painter Edouard Manet and composer Ludwig van Beethoven are typical examples of angst-ridden genius. What unites you with other Level 7 souls is a love of life's luxuries, particularly good food and wine, and a deep interest in the arts -- especially whatever breaks new ground.
