Level 1 souls are very new to being human. Everything seems big and confusing. They don't know the rules of our world yet, so they pick simple places to live. Small villages or quiet towns let them learn one thing at a time—maybe farming, cooking, weaving, or another basic skill.
Finding Who You Are
Level 1 souls have the unique opportunity to discover their individual identity and place in the world.
Feeling Too Afraid
The newness of human experience can be overwhelming, leading to fear and the desire to withdraw.
If you took a three-year-old child from a quiet farm and placed them at a busy city corner, they'd be frightened and unsure how to cross the street.
A Level 1 soul in a fast, noisy place—like a big office or crowded city—feels the same way.
Because language and art are new, their stories and pictures stay very simple. They might be afraid and want to hide away. That's normal at this stage.
After living many simple lives and mastering these first lessons—knowing who they are, belonging to a group, and feeling safe—a Level 1 soul will be ready for more complex lessons about sharing, cooperating, and facing the wider world.
