By a careful scrutiny of the planetary combinations and aspects in the twelve houses, the whole life of a person can be predicted with sufficient accuracy.
1st lord exalted, well associated, in quadrants, aspected by benefics → health, good appearance, happy future.
1st lord conjunct evil planet in 8th → health suffers.
1st lord with lords of 6th, 8th, 12th → constant complaints. 1st lord in 6th/8th/12th → sickly constitution.
Rahu, Mars, Saturn in Lagna → urinary/bladder troubles.
Mars, Sun, Saturn in Lagna → emaciated body.
Sun in Lagna aspected by Mars → asthma and consumption.
Venus in first half of Lagna → happy beginning. Venus in second half with evil planets in 4th/5th → miserable end.
Many evil planets in 1st → misery or checkered career.
Birth in watery signs → corpulent body.
2nd lord exalted + aspected by Jupiter → considerable wealth.
Jupiter with 2nd lord, or 2nd lord aspected by Mercury, or Venus favourable → orator and wealthy.
Mercury in quadrant + 2nd lord powerful → proficient in occult sciences, especially astrology.

Saturn in 4th with exalted Moon, Jupiter aspecting → much education but mother dies early.
4th lord debilitated + evil planets → sinful and licentious.

11th lord exalted in kendra + Mercury as 2nd lord → much gain from trade.
11th lord aspected by 2nd and 4th lords + conjunct 9th lord → very rich, frugal.
Jupiter in 11th aspected by Mercury → reputation as philosopher and lecturer.
11th occupied by Saturn, Mars, Rahu, Sun without benefic aspects → mentally miserable but financially well off.
11th lord afflicted by Saturn or Mars → deafness.

A malefic in the 2nd makes the person showy — but specifically during the Dasa of that malefic. Always connect house analysis to Dasa timing.
